Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the 2019 elections, the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) appointed two media coordinators on Wednesday.
Sasmita Patra has been appointed as the electronic media coordinator while Manas Mangaraj as print media coordinator, a release issued by the party stated.
Their appointment has been approved by BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Patra was appointed as the spokesperson of BJD in April this year while releasing the party’s list of 11-member panelists.
Similarly, Mangaraj, who was a Congress candidate for Chilika assembly seat in 2014 elections, had joined the ruling party in April this year, sources said.
