Bhubaneswar: Stepping up its attack on the Odisha government over different rackets, Congress on Thursday alleged that the ruling ruling BJD is involved in all job scams in the state, and said the issue will be raised in the Assembly.
Mounting a stinging attack on the ruling BJD, Congress MLA Santosh Singh Saluja accused the state government of playing with the future of the meritorious students.
Saluja’s remarks soon after Central Goods and Services Tax (GST) department carried out raids on the premises of Vanik Institute for alleged tax evasion.
Claiming that the students taking admission in the institute are being assured of government jobs, the Congress legislator said Vanik CMD Subrat Chhatoi is a member of BJD’s IT cell.
“It shows BJD is involved in all fake job racket cases in the state. We will raise the issue in the Assembly,” the Congress MLA said, adding that all those involved in the scam must be brought under the purview of the probe.
