BJD Mahila Samavesh Begins At All Constituencies In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Mahila Samavesh organized by the BJD began at all assembly constituencies in Odisha from Monday.
The weeklong Samavesh, which will conclude on September 30, began in each block, panchayat and ward of the constituency.
“The main focus of the Samavesh is to apprise the women of the several welfare schemes implemented by the state government and how far they have been benefited by these. Suggestions from the women will be sought for their other requirements. Apart from this, the party will also apprise the women of the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana and the Khadya Suraksha Yojana of the state government,” president of the BJD Mahila Janata Dal, Pramila Mallik told mediapersons here.
She also said that the BJD will also apprise the women of the apathy of the central government towards Odisha.
