Baragarh: A day after the BJD sought to augment security for Bhatli MLA Susanta Singh, the Bargarh police have deployed a videographer with the former minister to shoot the areas he visits during campaigning for Padampur byelection on December 5
“he already has a personal security officer (PSO). All the places, where the MLA will visit, will now be videographed for his security,” said Bargarh SP Smit P Parmar.
Apprehending that the BJD MLA might come under attack in the bypoll-bound constituency, with two BJP leaders, who had earlier allegedly assaulted his brother, camping in the segment, the Conch party on Friday urged the CEO to enhance his security.
The party has also sought for arrest of a BJP worker for allegedly attacking a ruling party activist and causing him grievous injuries.
