Bhubaneswar: Rourkela legislator Sarada Nayak had a narrow escape as his car met an accident in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Friday.
According to sources, the BJD MLA along with three party workers was coming in his car from Rourkela to Bhubaneswar in the morning. As they reached Baunsapal under Kamakhyanagar police limits in Dhenkanal district, their car collided with a tipper.
Fortunately, Nayak and the three BJD workers escaped without major injuries. But the car was partially damaged in the accident.
On getting information, local MLA Prafull Mallik sent another vehicle to the spot and Nayak came to Bhubaneswar safely.
