Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik on Monday announced the candidature of Sashi Bhusan Behera from Kendrapara assembly constituency.
Finance Minister in Naveen’s government, Behera had successfully contested from Jayadev assembly constituency in Khurda district in 2014 elections. He was a Rajya Sabha member from 2010 to 2014.
Kendrapara will go to poll in the fourth phase on April 29 along with Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur.
With this, the ruling party has named candidates for all 147 Assembly seats in the state.
