Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD leader and Rajya Sabha member Prasanna Acharya has tested positive for COVID-19.
Following this, BJD chief and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday tweeted wishing Acharya quick recovery and sound health.
After arriving in Bhubaneswar from New Delhi on Wednesday, Acharya had left for Bargarh the next day. However, on the way, he had a mild fever. On Friday, he had undergone a COVID-19 test at a hospital in Bargarh and tested positive. Later in the evening, he was admitted to Vikash Hospital.
His condition is now stable, said his family members.
