Rayagada: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has revoked the suspension order of former Gunupur MLA Trinath Gamango in the district.
An office order of the BJD, released to the media on Sunday, stated that the suspension order of Trinath Gamango, ex-MLA, Gunupur Assembly constituency in Rayagada district, of Biju Janata Dal issued earlier is hereby revoked with immediate effect.
BJD president Naveen Patnaik had suspended Gamango from primary membership of the party on ground of anti-party activities after the latter contested the last General Elections as an Independent candidate.
Following his reinstatement in the BJD, Gamango said he would fight as a disciplined member of the party in the ensuing panchayat elections.
