BJD to stage demo against LPG price rise tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The women wing of the ruling BJD on Thursday announced that it will stage a demonstration before Raj Bhawan here on Friday to press for immediate roll back of LPG price hike.

“The party members will stage similar demonstrations in front of the offices of three Revenue Divisional Commissioners across the state on November 6,” Biju Mahila Janata Dal (BMJD) President Pramila Mallick
said while addressing press conference here.

The party’s women activists will also sit on dharna in all 314 blocks of the state, if the Centre fails to withdraw its anti-people move, she added.
