“Both Narendra Modi and Naveen Patnaik have come to an understanding that both of them should go their own way. But when it comes to voting in the Parliament, the BJD should support the BJP,” Singh told mediapersons at Congress Bhawan here.
Talking about the governance in Odisha, he said the entire administration is now in the hands of the IAS officer V K Pandian.
“The way the Chief Minister is functioning, I fail to understand whether there is democracy or autocracy in Odisha. Except Pandian, MLAs, MPs and ministers have no access to the Chief Minister. The 5-T secretary has virtually brought the administration of all departments under his control,” he added.
In a statement, BJD spokesperson Sasmit Patra said his party does not take the statement of Singh seriously as he is known to have been making loose remarks which has embarrassed his own party.
