Bhubaneswar: The BJP has begun preparations to kick off its poll campaign, names of candidates for the first and second phase of Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha having been finalised.
At a function at the party’s headquarters office here on Thursday, senior leaders released campaign material, including posters and music CDs, to be distributed among voters.
Among others, Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda, the party’s Odisha prabhari Arun Singh, Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, state vice-president Sameer Mohanty, Damodar Rout and party’s state unit spokesperson, Golak Mohapatra, were present on the occasion.
