Bhubaneswar: The Odisha BJP has alleged attack on one of its candidates in Ganjam district during the first-phase Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
Briefing mediapersons here, BJP state unit vice president Sameer Mohanty said some members of other political parties assaulted his party candidate Manoranjan Dyansamantray, contesting from Chikiti Assembly seat, at booth no-82 in Jhatiapadar.
Alleging rigging in several booths in the Chikiti block, he said that BJP agents were not allowed to enter 18 booths.
