Sonepur: Five persons, including Zilla Parishad chairperson Usha Kumari, were critically injured after an election campaigning vehicle of BJP skidded off the road and overturned near Pandiapali Chhak on Sonepur-Biramaharajpur road on Thursday.
While Usha Kumari has been admitted to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) for treatment, the others are undergoing treatment in a hospital in Sonepur.
The accident took place when they were on the way to Binika from Birmaharajpur for election campaigning.
