BJP Leader Pitambar Acharya To Lock Horns With CM In Hinjili

Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader, spokesperson and vice-president of the party’s state unit Pitambar Acharya will lock horns with the BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the Hinjili Assembly seat.

This was decided by the party leadership in a meeting here on Monday.

Following the decision, Acharya will file his nominations for Hinjili very soon.

The Chief Minister had filed his nomination papers for Hinjili at the office of the sub-collector (also called as Returning Officer) at Chhatrapur in Ganjam district on March 20.

Along with Hinjili, the Chief Minister for the first time has decided to file his nominations for Bijepur Assembly seat under Bargarh Lok Sabha constituency.

Elections to both the Assembly constituencies will be held in the second phase on April 18.
