BJP Leader Sambit Patra Teams Up With Kailash Kher In Singing Jagannath Song

Bhubaneswar: BJP national spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra teamed up with singer and composer Kailash Kher in singing a devotional song as an offering to Lord Jagannath.

With one day remaining for the world famous Rath Yatra, the song titled ‘Shri Jagannath Ashtakam’ was released by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday.

Adi Shankaracharya had written ‘Shri Jagannath Ashtakam’ during his visit to the Jagannath temple in Puri.

Kailash Kher has composed the song while Abhinay Soni has done the post-production work of the music video. The song was recorded at Kailasa Studio in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Dr Patra has appealed to the people of Odisha to strictly follow the government’s COVID guidelines and offer prayer to Lord Jagannath from their homes on the day of Rath Yatra.
