Lucknow: Unidentified assailants shot dead BJP leader Pramod Yadav in UP’s Jaunpur district on Thursday.
The crime took place near Bodhpur village, under Sikarara police station area.
According to police, the bike-borne assailants stopped the 55-year-old Yadav on the pretext of giving a ‘card’, and shot him three times.
Soon after, the assailants left their bike and fled.
