Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to observe anti-black money day at national level on November 8, informed Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday.
Addressing mediapersons here, Dharmendra said, “The party will observe anti-black money day on November 8 to mark the first anniversary of demonetization, a historic note ban move introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to detect black money and end corrupt practices.”
Stating that the Prime Minister had constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to unearth black money as per Supreme Court orders on the first day in office, the Union minister said the bank accounts of about 3 lakh illegal companies have so far been seized.
