Bhubaneswar: BJP on Tuesday urged the Odisha government to carry out a fresh audit of the ornaments of the sibling deities in the Puri Jagannath temple.
In a letter to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, BJP leader and leader of the Opposition, Pradipta Nayak wrote that apart from the fresh audit, the ornaments listed by the temple administration in 1978 should also be audited to find out whether any of them had gone missing during the period.
