Bhubaneswar: The BJP on Thursday came down heavily on the Odisha government for not celebrating the International Yoga Day.
Terming the decision of the state government not to celebrate it as grossly unfortunate and anti-national, BJP state general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan said it has exposed the parochial and silly attitude of the chief minister.
“While almost all countries in the world are celebrating the International Yoga Day which is an initiative of the Central government, Odisha has insulted the country by skipping the event,” Harichandan said in a statement here.
