Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will felicitate all its elected MPs and MLAs of Odisha at a function to be organised in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
According to BJP sources, all the ministers, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and deputy chief ministers KV Singhdeo and Pravati Parida, will attend the felicitation function to be held at Exhibition Ground. Some leaders of the state unit of the party visited the ground to make an assessment for organising the function on Friday.
The Union ministers and Central leaders of BJP will also be invited to the function, the sources said.
It may be noted that the saffron party stormed to power in the recently concluded Assembly elections. It ousted BJD from power after 24 years by bagging majority of seats.
The BJP has 78 MLAs in the 147-member Assembly while its 20 candidates were elected from 21 Lok Sabha constituencies.
