Bhubaneswar: Taking strong exception to the alleged murder of its leader and former Mahanga block chairman Kulamani Baral and his associate, the Odisha unit of BJP has decided to stage demonstration in all blocks of Cuttack district from Monday.

Earlier on the day, Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP’s national vice-president Baijayant Panda and state vice-president Bhrugu Baxipatra condemned the murder and demanded exemplary action against the assailants.
Kulamani and his associate Dibyasingha Baral were attacked with sharp weapons by unidentified miscreants near Jankoti village in Cuttack district on Saturday evening.

Condemning the incident, BJD MLA of Mahanga and Law Minister Pratap Jena said stern action will be taken against the culprits and he would personally look into the case.
