Bhawanipatna: More than 20 people were injured after a vehicle carrying BJP women wing turned turtle at Karlaguda on Khariar road in Kalahandi district on Tuesday.
The injured were rushed to the district headquarters hospital at Bhawanipatna. Two among them were later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
Those travelling in the vehicle were natives of Chheliamal village.
The driver of the vehicle managed to flee the spot.
According to reports, the BJP women workers were returning home in that vehicle after attending the BJP Mahila Morcha national executive body meeting at Puri.
