Balasore: Police have begun a probe into a massive blast in a three-storey building at Achyutpur village under Industrial police limits here late on Wednesday.
According to sources, the blast took place inside a room on the top floor of the building of one Kalicharan Mahapatra. The impact of the blast was so severe that the walls of the room and a part of the roof collapsed.
However, Sridhara Mohanty, a marble mason who was staying in that room on rent, has gone missing. Besides, one Sumit of Bihar, who was staying on the first floor of the building, is also untraceable. Investigation is on to ascertain whether the duo was present when the blast took place, police said.
