Dhenkanal: As many as 10 fire tenders were trying to douse a blaze that broke out at a grid substation of Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) at Kantabania in Dhenkanal district on Sunday morning.
According to reports, some OPTCL staffers spotted the fire around 7.30 am and informed their senior officials, who in turn alerted Fire Service personnel.
Though the exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that a short circuit could be the cause.
