Bhubaneswar: The agitating block grant teachers and lecturers have decided to continue their stir after a meeting with the government failed to deliver any acceptable solution to their issues.
Following the meeting at state secretariat here on Thursday, higher education minister said the the government needs more time to look into the teachers’ demands and decided to hold another meeting with them on August 28.
Meanwhile, the strike of block grant teachers seeking fulfillment of their demands, including abolition of block grant system and full grant-in-aid, have entered the ninth day.
