Blood-Soaked Body Of Woman Found Under Bridge In Odisha’s Bargarh

Bargarh: A blood-soaked body of an unidentified woman was found under a bridge near Bhadigaon under Bhatli police limits in Odisha’s Bargarh district on Wednesday.

According to sources, locals found a blood-stained knife on the bridge this morning and then spotted the body under the bridge. An ATM card, bearing the name ‘Sheela Behera’, was also found near the body.

Soon, a team from Bhatli police station arrived at the spot and sent the body for postmortem. It is being suspected that she was murdered and then thrown off the bridge. An investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the victim and the cause of the murder.
