Blood-Soaked Body Of Youth Found In Berhampur

Ganjam: A youth was found lying in a pool of blood at Kharavela Nagar under Sadar police limits in Berhampur on Wednesday.

It is being that suspected that the deceased, identified as Pradip Behera of Brajanagar, was crushed to death with a boulder.

A history-sheeter, Pradip had cases pending against him in the police station. He was also shot at once in Berhampur.

According to the sources, people of the locality had seen him till 8 pm on Tuesday night. He the went out for some personal work, but did not return. His family members looked for him, but in vain.

A woman spotted his body this morning and informed the family members.

Though the reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected to be the fallout of past enmity. Police have started investigation into the incident.

On October 5, he was reportedly attacked by a youth at Brajanagar Square.
