Puri: Hundreds of devotees had to wait outside the Jagannath Temple for a long time on Saturday as the sevayats performed Maha Snana (bathing) rituals of the Lords.
According to sources, the sevayats were about to perform Dwaraphita and Mangal Alati of the Lords at about 5 am when they found blood stains near Bhitara Katha inside the Jagmohan.
The sevayats later sanitised the Jagmohan and performed the Mangal Alati of the Lords after performing their Maha Snana rituals.
