Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), after reviewing the lockdown situation, has allowed some relaxations in Odisha’s capital city.
Following are the relaxations to be allowed by BMC:
1. Continuation of work in construction projects, within the limits of the municipal corporation and municipalities, where workers are available on site and no workers are required to be brought in from outside (in-situ construction). Bringing workers from outside the work site is strictly prohibited.
2. Shops dealing in construction equipment and supplies such as cement, iron rods, chips etc to be open.
3. Materials can be delivered at the construction sites only from 10 pm to 5 am. This is to be ensured by the agencies/developers/contractors in coordination with shop owners.
