Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has issued fresh guidelines for kalyan mandaps, conventions halls and marriage mandaps for holding functions.
In an order released on Wednesday BMC stated the function halls will be allowed t function in strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
In view of the current COVID-19 situations it has been decided to allow a maximum of 200 members will be allowed for
marriage-related functions and participation of 100 for gatherings related to death rituals.
Earlier, the slab was 100 for marriage functions and 50 in case of death-related gatherings.
Moreover, as per the SRC notification issued on Tuesday, the BMC has stated that marriage processions of 200 persons should include bride, groom, priest, friends, relatives, guests and other paraphernalia with strict adherence to COVID19 safety protocols and maintenance of social distancing.
