BMC Nod For Sital Sasthi At Lingaraj Temple In Bhubaneswar

Bhubneswar: Stage has been cleared for the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar to perform rituals for Sital Sasthi puja on certain conditions.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has granted permission to the temple in this regard on the condition that no procession will be carried out during celebration of the festival.

BMC Additional Commissioner Abanikanta Patnaik said the temple administration has to ensure that the servitors engaged in performing the rituals must wear face masks and maintain social distancing.
