Bhubaneswar: Here’s good news for property owners.
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced on Monday that property owners paying holding tax on or before April 30 for the financial year 2022-23 will get a 5 per cent rebate.
The tax will be calculated as per the old slab and counters have been opened at 23 ward offices across the city, where people can pay the tax between 8 am and 1 pm on all days, except government holidays.
It can be paid online at http://bhubaneswar.me
In the last financial year, 2021-22, the BMC collected Rs 62 crore in holding tax.
