Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Saturday announced doorstep COVID-19 test and vaccination (pick and drop) facility for differently-abled persons from May 23.
BMC Commissioner Sanjay Singh informed that differently-abled persons who are unable to walk can avail of this service.
He added that mass testing will be conducted for them in several housing societies.
Differently-abled persons can call 1929 for testing, following which members of BMC’s medical team will collect swab from their house.
BMC has already started doorstep COVID testing of pregnant women and senior citizens in the city.
