BMC To Start Walk-In For 45 Plus Group Awaiting 2nd Covaxin Jab

Bhubaneswar: People in the 45+ age group who had taken the first Covaxin vaccination shot and are awaiting the second jab can now walk-in to the same facility to get inoculated.

Citizens can take their second dose from June 21-26 between 5 pm and 6 pm, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation tweeted.

The time gap between 1st and 2nd jab of Covaxin vaccine is between 29 and 42 days.

However, those who have taken the jab at drive-in centres will have to book slots at drive-in for second dose, it said.

In another tweet, BMC said the walk-in facilities for 18-44 age group will continue as earlier. Citizens who have taken their 1st dose from 24th-29th May can take their 2nd dose based on the schedule mentioned below.
