On his part, Yuvraj Tiwari, a student of Class XII from Holy Cross School, Jharkhand, tweeted on a more serious note: “I do not want the pending exams to take place. The Board had ordered students to wear a mask and maintain social distancing norms when the cases were just a few, but no one obliged. How can conducting them in the middle of the crisis is okay?”
Meanwhile, Sukanya from Rajkiya Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya at Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi wants the exams to happen, but only when the situation gets better. “All my friends want the pending exams to be conducted. We are already behind, Delhi University has started its admission process. I have to appear for Home Science, but what about those who have subjects like Business Studies and Geography pending? It matters to them for their better future.”
The coronavirus pandemic forced a suspension of regular academic activities across the country and CBSE had to halt the ongoing Board exams midway.
Meanwhile, the future sure seems uncertain with students, guardians and schools anxiously awaiting the CBSE’s decision on holding the pending Board exams.
