Bodies Of Retired Cop, Wife Found In Jeypore

Jeypore: Police recovered the bodies of a retired police officer and his wife from inside a room in their house in Jayaganagar area of Jeypore town of Koraput district on Saturday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Sheikh Rahman, a retired police officer, and his wife.

Circumstantial evidence suggests the couple were murdered, the police said.

Sources in the locality said the couple have a son and a daughter. The daughter is married and stays with her husband, while the son stays away from his parents.
