Bhadrak: A dismembered body of a bank employee was found near Kednuapada railway station in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Lalatendu Barik, a resident of Sherpur village.
Sources said that Government Railway Police have recovered the body and started an investigation into the incident. It is suspected that the bank employee might have committed suicide by jumping before the train the previous night.
Barik left the bank last evening but did not reach home. After a frantic search, his family members found his electric scooter near the railway station late last nigh. Later, his body was found lying on the track. He was reportedly under stress and had also submitted his resignation about a couple of days ago, sources added.
