Bhubaneswar: Body of a man aged around 35 years was found near Congress Bhawan at Master Canteen Square in Odisha capital on Monday.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
According to sources, police received a call about a man lying in an unconscious state around 11 am. “He was taken to a hospital in an ambulance but was declared received dead at the health facility,” Capital police station IIC Padmanav Pradhan told the media.
No injury on the body during the preliminary investigation. “We are examining CCTV footage to ascertain the circumstances under which the man reached the spot,” he added.
Autopsy of the body is being conducted at Capital Hospital here.
Sources further said that it is suspected that some youths came in a car and dumped the body there around 10-10.30 am.
