Mayurbhanj: The body of a Class 8 girl, who had gone missing, was recovered from a gunny sack at a village in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Saturday.

ay evening, was discovered inside a sack just 200 metres from her house at NAC Ward number 15 near Banasahi in Karanjia. Her family has alleged it to be a pre-meditated murder.
According to sources, the family of the teenage girl informed the police within an hour of her going missing. Alleging that the girl was murdered and her body dumped at the site in a planned way, the family demanded a thorough probe and arrest of the accused.
On being informed, a police team visited the spot and launched an investigation. SDPO of Karanjia is monitoring the probe into the murder, which has sent shockwaves across the area.
