Bhadrak: Body of a pregnant woman was found dumped at the side of a road near Kabisahi under Bhandaripokhari block of Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Tapaswini Das. She hailed from Napang village and had married one Sipun Das, a year ago.
According to sources, locals found her lifeless body this morning and alerted police, which sent it for postmortem and initiated an investigation in the matter.
Meanwhile, Tapaswini’s family members alleged that her husband and in-laws began torturing her soon after her marriage. They suspect that they murdered her and threw her body on the road.
