Rourkela: Police is investigating into the death of an unidentified woman who body was found from a bush near the foothills of Tara Tarini temple in Sector-6 area in Rourkela in Odisha’s Sundargarh district in the morning on Friday.
Police which rushed to the spot following information, found blood oozing out of the mouth of the deceased while her head is crushed with stones.
Police found a Scooty near the spot.
Circumstantial evidence states that the woman has been murdered by some miscreants in the late night hours on Thursday, police said, adding that the deceased would be around 30-35 years old.
Some locals informed that the deceased had come to the area on Thursday night asking them the location of Tara Tarini temple.
Police has taken the body for post-mortem and started investigation.
