Pipili: Body of a youth was found on Bhubaneswar-Puri National Highway near Pipili in Puri district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ramachandra Behera (23), a resident of Nuagodi village under Teisipur panchayat under Pipili police limits.
According to Behera’s friends, who had gone to a nearby market place with him, he had been missing since last night after a speeding vehicle hit his motorcycle on the National Highway. They could not find him despite continuous search. However, Behera’s family members alleged that he was murdered.
The body has been sent for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of death, police sources said.
