Bol Bam devotee dies after being struck by wave in Puri sea

Puri: In a tragic incident, a Bol Bam devotee died after being struck by a massive wave in Puri sea on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sanjit Dalei (27), a resident of Balikuda village in Jajpur district.
The incident took place when Sanjit and his friends were taking bath in the sea. Sanjit sustained serious injuries after being hit by the huge wave while his friends had a miraculous escape.
After receiving information regarding the incident, a team of fire officials reached the spot and rushed him to Puri district headquarters hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
