Bollywood Celebs Not Under Drugs Scanner: NCB

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has denied media reports that it was preparing a list of Bollywood celebrities who consumed drugs based on the confession of actress Rhea Chakraborty.

It was earlier reported that Rhea had revealed the names of 25 Bollywood A-listers who consumed drugs with her and Sushant Singh Rajput during her confession to the central agency.

Denying the reports, NCB deputy director KPS Malhotra said, “We have not prepared any Bollywood list. The list prepared earlier was of peddlers and traffickers. It’s getting confused with Bollywood.”

According to a report in Free Press Journal, the NCB official also denied zeroing in on the purported names revealed by Rhea.

On Saturday, Times Now had reported that Rhea told NCB officials that Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan consumed drugs with her and Sushant at his Lonavala farmhouse. Sushant and Sara had appeared in Kedarnath together, which was the latter’s debut film.

After the report of Rhea naming Bollywood celebrities surfaced in the media, various rumours circulated on the internet about Sara and Rakul being summoned by the NCB. However, the tweets were made by fake accounts and were later taken down.
