Angul: A bomb with a timer was found on the office premises of Talcher MLA Brajakishore Pradhan at Nadira in Odisha’s Angul district on Friday morning.
On being informed, a team from the Colliery police station reached the spot and sealed the area. A bomb squad also reached the spot. Later, an investigation was launched by a scientific team.
Pradhan told the media he suspects it to be the handiwork of some conspirators. “It happened just before our rally,” he added.
The district BJD had blocked the national highway for two hours from 8 am to 10 am at Raja Chaka this morning to protest against the poor condition of the national highways and the unjust policy of MCL displacement.
