Bhubaneswar: Passengers of the Bhubaneswar bound Konark Super Fast Express were in a state of panic after two abandoned boxes were found inside a coach on Saturday.
Sources said 11019 Mumbai CST-Bhubaneswar Konark Super Fast Express had left Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) in Mumbai at 3 PM on Friday.
On Saturday, while the Express train was on the way, some passengers found two boxes inside a reserved coach number S-11.
As there was no claimant of these two boxes, the panicked passengers informed the officials of the Railway Protection Force (RPF).
Following information, the RPF officials immediately informed the Government Railway Police (GRP).
After the train stopped at Madhira Railway station between Warangal and Khammam Railway Station in Telangana state, the RPF personnel and a team of bomb disposal squad went inside the reserved coach and brought the two boxes for examination.
During the examination, the security personnel found paint inside the two boxes.
Following the confirmation, the train left the station after 32 minutes.
