Niali: Tension ran high at Brahmanjharilo village in Cuttack district after bombs were hurled in the area late on Sunday night.
No loss of life or damage to property was reported in the incident. According to eyewitnesses, a group of unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at one Pinak Mohanty’s house and opened fire in the air before
fleeing the spot.
Though the reason behind the bombing is yet to be known, police suspect it to be a case of business rivalry.
The investigation into the matter is underway.
