Puri: Tension prevailed in Odisha’s Puri town after crude bombs were allegedly hurled at the residence of a lawyer late Tuesday night.
According to sources, miscreants threw two crude bombs at the house of lawyer Subhasish Mohanty in Angarua Lane of Matimandap Sahi near Jagannath Temple here. While no casualty was reported, the incident was captured in a CCVT camera.
On being informed, City DSP K K Hariprasad and Town police station in-charge Gokula Ranjan Das reached the spot and initiated an investigation by examining the CCTV footage. A person has been detained for questioning.
