Cuttack: A group of miscreants hurled bombs near Badambadi police station here on Saturday night creating panic in the area. One person was injured and an autorickshaw damaged in the explosion.
According to information, the bombs were hurled when a melody programme was on at a puja mandap near the police station.
On being informed, DCP Akhileswar Singh rushed to the spot and started inquiry.
On September 12, bombs were hurled near Jayashree Cinema Hall here.
Cuttack has witnessed seven such incidents in the past two months.
