Bhubaneswar: Police have detained two persons in connection with the bombing incident at the BJP state headquarters here on Saturday evening.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the explosion.
According to available information, two miscreants tried to barge into the party office. When the security guard engaged at the office stopped them, a heated argument ensued between the three. Following the incident, the miscreants threw bombs and immediately fled the office premises.
On being informed, officers from Kharvel police station had rushed to the spot and started investigation.
Splinters and stones from the exploded bombs were recovered from the spot, sources added.
